The Blond's Bathroom
Every brazilian teenager certainly know this strange, scary mystery. The Blond's Bathroom: they say you can call her from your bathroom by doing specif things: shouting her name three times at the mirror, kicking the toilet bowl, flushing with a stand of hair or telling obscene words.The most of people only know the popular story: a female girl that used to cut classes, staying in the bathroom, while the teacher was teaching. One day, she fall down, hit her head and died.
Since this day, she lives there scarying people, especially students.
But there's another completely different theory about the haunt, the blond's bathroom. The most interesting, in my opinion. That one explains exactly who she is and what she believes, it's heart touching.
Maria Augusta de Oliveira was a brave girl borned in Guaratinguetá, São Paulo at nineteenth's century. It was very common at this time, the parents arrange a marriage for their daughters and that was exactly what happened with her. She was very unhappy, she didn't love the new husband and bravery decided to sell her jewels and run way to Paris with eighteen years old. She died there with twenty six years old and nobody knows why, because the death certificate desappeared.
The news of her death came to Brazil and her family ask to return the body to her origin's country. But not only that: put her body on a glass urn, while the mommy was preparing the tomb. Even when the tomb was ready, the mom refuses to bury. Then, she started to have terrible nightmares and finally buried her daughter.
Some time later, the Maria Augusta's house became a school called Conselheiro Rodrigues Alves, where people say that her spirit walks there until today. The story became stronger after a fire ocurred in Conselheiro.
